on the Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For those looking for a great way to start their summer, the Bayfield Ag Society has planned a wonderful family activity \u2013Breakfast on the Farm.\u00a0 On <strong>July 2<\/strong> everyone is invited to the <strong>Steenbeek Dairy Farms<\/strong>, east of Varna on Mill Road, to experience a filling breakfast and the opportunity to visit a dairy farm.\u00a0 The <strong>breakfast will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.<\/strong> and the tours will be continuous during that time.\u00a0 This is the chance to actually see a nearby modern dairy operation and ask your questions about the operation.\u00a0 The added bonus is having a farm styled breakfast under shelter from any type of weather.\u00a0 The cost will be $7 with all children under 5 free.\u00a0 There will be a limited number of tickets available to ensure all get a great start to their day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bayfieldfallfair.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/BayfieldFairCrafts.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-895\" contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@bayfieldfair.ca\">info@bayfieldfair.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 prize book is online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bayfieldfair.ca\">www.bayfieldfair.ca<\/a> and available in paper copy at several local businesses or contact a Board member for your own copy.\u00a0 This is a great time to get your seeds ready for planting after checking to see what the listings are this year.\u00a0 Last year the handcrafts had the largest increase in exhibits over the previous year.\u00a0 Possibly exhibitors will check out the categories for woodworking or photography to have those sections increase in size.\u00a0 There will always be room to display everyone\u2019s entries.<\/p>\n<p>There has been strong interest in being a concession vendor this year and the spaces
