As a special celebration for our 170th anniversary and the Village of Bayfield\u2019s 150th anniversary, we\u2019re hosting a one-of-a-kind competition to be held on opening night of the 2026 Bayfield Fair.<\/p>\n
Date:<\/strong> Friday, August 14<\/p>\n Time:<\/strong> 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n Place:<\/strong> Bayfield Agricultural Park, 1 Fry St., Bayfield, ON<\/p>\n \u201cMan vs Tractor Tug of War\u201d puts an agricultural twist on a classic team challenge. Teams of four will test their strength by pulling a John Deere 6M 150 tractor, generously provided by Huron Tractor, using a tug rope supplied by Tuckersmith Communications Co-op (TCC).<\/p>\n Each team (all ages) will race against the clock, pulling the tractor over a predetermined distance in the Main Show Ring. Official timing will be provided by REACH Huron, making every second count!<\/p>\n Bragging rights are priceless\u2014but thanks to the generous support of TCC, the top three teams will also earn a donation to the registered charity of their choice:<\/p>\n 🥇 1st Place: $200 charitable donation<\/p>\n 🥈 2nd Place: $100 charitable donation<\/p>\n 🥉 3rd Place: $50 charitable donation<\/p>\n Gather your team, show off your strength, and help us celebrate two historic community milestones while supporting a great cause. We can’t wait to see which team will be crowned the inaugural Tractor Tug Champions!<\/p>\n
