On Father’s Day take the family or a group of friends on a tour of the countryside in the Clinton, Varna, and Seaforth areas. The tours will start out by going to the Seaforth Agri-Plex or Huron Tirecraft on Hwy 4 in Clinton between noon and 2 pm. to pick up a tour booklet listing and mapping all the farms to visit. A minimum donation of $10 is suggested.
The farms are open from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. for visitors. This will be a rare opportunity to visit up to 7 specialized farm sites, including horse farms, cattle farms, a tree farm, a grass farm, a sheep farm, and a winery. On this occasion those on the tour get to go through the countryside, drive into a farm lane, see these farm operations up close, and speak with the owners.
