The Bayfield Agricultural Society will be celebrating its 170th anniversary next year. As part of the celebration, we’re planning a commemorative recipe book as a fundraiser. The book will contain family-favourite recipes interspersed with shared stories and anecdotes or memories about the Ag Society and the fair.
This is where you come in. You can be part of our celebration by submitting your favourite recipes and stories.
Please send your recipes and stories in Word format. We’re asking that everyone use standard Imperial measurement units (teaspoon, tablespoon, cups, etc.) for the recipes. Forward your submissions before November 30th to bas170cookbook@gmail.com If you need to submit handwritten material, please contact us at this email address.
We expect to have the completed book of recipes and stories available by the summer of 2026 for community members to purchase as gifts for friends and loved ones or as a keepsake.
Please consider advertising your business in the recipe book, which will help to offset the cost of printing. The rates are: $25 for quarter page (business card size) and $50 for half page with the artwork to be submitted.
