We’re very proud to introduce “Recipes & Stories” – a commemorative book celebrating the 170th anniversary of the Bayfield Agricultural Society (BAS).
The book contains over 130 recipes from the community – many of them handed down through families over generations – along with memories about food shared and the people who prepared it. The book also features a BAS history section, family stories, and a collection of Fair stories.
The “Recipes & Stories” book was launched at the 2026 Bayfield Community Fair, August 14 to 16. The cost per copy is $20 (cash, e-transfer, or cheque). The book is still available and can be ordered by sending an email to info@bayfieldfair.ca.

The BAS gratefully acknowledges a Bayfield 150 Project grant from the Bayfield Lions Club to help offset the cost of producing the commemorative book.
