It may still be cold outside, but the Bayfield Ag Society is well on their way to planning this years fair!
The most recent meeting held by the Directors of the Bayfield Ag society was full of talk of new and exciting events and attractions to be held at this years fair Some attractions that have already been confirmed, are a midway by Townsend Amusements, Music Fest, the Discovery tent, Youth Talent Search, and Friday night Fireworks! A Chairperson for the Ribs fest is still needed, please contact the Ag society if you would be interested in filling this position.
A Fundraising plan was put together to help the Ag Society Purchase some new tables for the Fair. The tables that are used to display the fruits, vegetables and other handcrafts are old heavy doors, the purchase of new tables will make the set up and take down for this part of the fair a breeze! 50/50 Raffle tickets are on sale now! A second annual Breakfast on the Farm has been confirmed. It will be held on July 1st, on a different dairy farm than last year. Mark your calendars and come out to learn something new!
The next General meeting for the Bayfield Agricultural Society will be held on Monday March 13th at 7pm At St. Andrews United Church. New members are always welcome.
