An annual fundraising activity of the Bayfield Agricultural Society is the making and selling of wreaths and tails. In October of each year, a group of volunteers gathers to cut the boughs and make the seasonal pieces from local greens and then sells them at local events, most actively at Christmas in Bayfield.
2024 Wreath Sale
It’s that time of year again! The annual Wreath Sale, our major fundraiser, will be held during the Christmas in Bayfield weekend. Here’s what you need to know:
- Friday, November 15 – 4 to 8 pm
- Saturday, November 16 – 10 am to 3 pm, while quantities last
- Parking lot in front of St. Andrew’s United Church, 6 The Square, Bayfield
- Wreath Sizes/Prices: Medium – $30; Large – $40. Payment by cash or debit/credit.
These beautiful wreaths are made from a variety of seasonal greens thanks to the generosity of those in the Bayfield community who donated large quantities of quality evergreen boughs. Each wreath is one of a kind and will add a special warmth to any holiday décor.
A limited number of greenery bundles, bows, and tails will also be available.
All of the wreaths have been handcrafted by local volunteers using locally-sourced greens as a fundraiser for the Bayfield Agricultural Society – a local organization with a 168-year history in the Bayfield community. Proudly keeping it local!
