In 165 years, a rich history in Bayfield has been established by the Bayfield Agricultural Society in this great community. Our wreath making is a fundraising activity that the Ag Society does to help with the expenses of the next year. The grapevine bases have been made and everything is ready for the greens to be cut. 10″ – 12″ boughs of cedar are needed in great quantities. Following a year of planning, the 165th Bayfield Fair will soon be a weekend of gathering together and celebrating our rural community. It will be a hybrid fair so our gathering can be safe but still have the essence of competitions, entertainment, and seeing one another again -socially distanced. It is quite a feat to think that the Bayfield Agricultural Society has created a gathering point for the community for 165 years at its fair. The Bayfield Agricultural Society is looking for a Secretary. This position is a volunteer role and comes with an honorarium. The Secretary will carry out a variety of general, year-round administrative duties on behalf of the BAS as well as prepare documents for our monthly meetings.
